2014 Audi A6 3.0 TDI – Review and Road Test – The Green Car Driver –
The Audi A6 makes life tough for its competitors, namely BMW and Mercedes, in the premium sedan market. The powerful yet fuel-efficient diesel is a blast to drive, responds quickly, and offers a wide power-range. The large list of additional options for safety and entertainment functions leaves no wish unfulfilled and is on eye-level with the competition.
The only unanswered question the Audi A6 leaves in our mind is: When will Audi expand its diesel range and bring this powerful and economical diesel to the U.S. market? Currently, customers in the U.S. have to remain content with the less powerful 245 horsepower version of the 3-liter diesel powerplant.
